Indian company Force Motors has unveiled a new SUV called Trax Cruiser. Externally, this large SUV resembles the premium Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Only now it costs significantly less.
At home, Force Motors works very successfully: it owns 60% of the LCV market. In the rest of the world, this brand is known for its Force Gurkha frame SUVs, which have received the apt comparison “Gelendvagen for the poor”. Now the automaker has another car with a recognizable angular design – Trax Cruiser.
The salon of the novelty can be designed for ten, 12 or 13 seats. In any of the available cabin configurations, the rear benches can be folded down to add more luggage space.
Trax Cruiser has a sturdy frame chassis with rear springs. A 91-horsepower 2.6-liter diesel engine from Mercedes is responsible for its performance. In conjunction with it, a six-speed transmission and a rear-wheel drive system are working.
The SUV, whose length reaches 5120 mm, is equipped quite well: ABS and EBD, modern multimedia with navigation, power windows, etc.
For the cheapest option, you will have to pay 1.15 million rupees (about $ 15,700). The most advanced SUV costs 1.33 million rupees (over $ 18,000).
