Renault’s Romanian brand Dacia has unveiled a new corporate logo that will be used on future models of the automaker. Presumably, the first car with the changed emblem will be the Bigster crossover, which is called the “big brother” of Duster (sold under the Renault brand in Ukraine).
The old shield emblem has been replaced with the angular letters “DACIA”. In addition, the radiator grilles of future models of the company will use an emblem stylized as the interconnected letters “D” and “C”.
As for the Bigster crossover, its eponymous concept was shown in January 2021 as part of the presentation of Renault’s new development strategy called “Renaulution.
The production car, built on the modular CMF-B platform from the new Logan and Sandero, will be about 4.6 meters long. The Dacia Bigster will be available with a standard five-seater cabin, but there is a possibility that the crossover will have a seven-seater version, where the driver and passengers will be accommodated in a 2 + 3 + 2 scheme.
The range of engines will include three- and four-cylinder petrol turbo engines with a capacity of 90 to 150 horsepower. Plus, the car has a 140-horsepower version with a hybrid setup based on a 1.6-liter engine.
