The American automaker has just now approved the dimensions and design of the serial Tesla Cybertruck.
According to the Insideevs portal, with reference to insiders at Tesla, the final design of the electric pickup was never presented to the general public. Also, the characteristics of the futuristic model are not declassified. We will remind that earlier it was reported that the appearance of the serial pickup will be changed slightly. Elon Musk said that the dimensions of the model will decrease by only 3%.
The Cybertruck was originally expected to be 5,885mm long, 2,027mm wide, and 1,905mm high. The ground clearance on the Cybertruck prototype could be increased to 406 mm thanks to the air suspension. Depending on the modification, the car can be equipped with one, two or three electric motors. From standstill to 100 km / h, depending on the configuration, the electric car can accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 4.5 to 6.5 seconds. Mileage on a single charge also varies from 400 to 500 km.
Recall that at the end of July, Elon Musk said that the start of pickup production was postponed to 2022. Now Tesla is faced with a shortage of electronic components, which does not allow preparing for the serial production of the new product.
