The Hyundai Staria is unlike any other South Korean automaker’s model. This is because he adopted an inside out design philosophy that starts with the interior design process and extends to the exterior.
With that in mind, the front end of the 2021 Staria includes horizontal LED daytime running lights that span the entire width of the vehicle and are combined with low-set headlights on either side of the grille. Hyundai’s designers also gave the car an unusually low waistline, resulting in wide side windows. The Staria’s rear design is more traditional and includes vertical taillights and a wide window.
Customers who choose the Staria Premium model can enjoy a unique grille with a different mesh pattern, as well as tinted brass chrome on the Hyundai emblem, wheels, side mirrors and door handles. Staria Premium will also receive 18-inch wheels with diamond pattern and graphics.
Hyundai says Staria’s interior is inspired by the interior of a cruise ship and includes a 10.25-inch infotainment display, push-button electronic shift lever like the new Santa Fe, and a cluster of digital gauges.
All Staria Premium variants also come standard with ambient lighting and, for 7-seater models, a one-touch relaxation mode that reclines the second row seats. Models equipped with 9-seater seats also have second-row seats that can rotate 180 degrees to look at third-row passengers.
The 2021 Hyundai Staria will debut in the first half of this year.
