Arizona Cops have added two brand new 2021 Dodge Challenger R / T vehicles to their fleet with a generous donation. The vehicles will be used to chase dangerous drivers and deliver them to the station.
Arizona Police have just added two Dodge Challenger patrol vehicles to their fleet.
On Facebook, the Prescott Valley Police Department announced that it had received a $ 130,000 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Highway Safety Department to purchase a pair of 2021 Dodge Challenger R / T models.
The police department says the two vehicles will be designated to “aggressively suppress dangerous driving on our roads” and will be used for “daily road safety monitoring.”
The two Challengers have been redesigned with hidden blue and red flashing lights on their front grilles, side skirts, and even in the muscle car’s hood scoop.
Unsurprisingly, many of the townspeople are unhappy with the way the police department spent the $ 130,000 grant.
One of the Internet users, commenting on a post on Facebook, noted that it would be more correct to spend money on social projects. A regular Challenger R / T costs just over $ 37,000. So the police should have had about $ 56,000 left for other purposes.
