Dodge has unveiled two new styling packages for a range of Charger and Challenger versions. The first is called HEMI Orange – and according to the manufacturer’s idea, it brings back the owners of muscle cars to the era when all HEMI engines were distinguished by an orange-colored cylinder block. The second, SRT Black, is easily recognizable by the black decor.
Both styling packages will appear in dealer catalogs before the end of this year. HEMI Orange will be offered for the Charger and Challenger in GT RWD versions (V6 3.6 Pentastar, 307 HP) and Scat Pack Widebody (V8 6.4 HEMI, 492 HP). These cars will be recognizable by gray and orange stripes along the body and orange logos, as well as six-piston orange Brembo calipers and 20-inch black Warp Speed wheels (for Scat Pack Widebody).
Muscle cars with the HEMI Orange package will have a lot of orange stitching and monochromatic Dodge logos embroidered on the seats. Plus, the Scat Pack Widebody has black and orange dies with the numbers “392” (engine capacity in cubic inches, equivalent to 6.4 liters) and darkened decorative trims on the steering wheel, center console and dashboard. A similar set will also be offered for the Durango R / T and R / T Tow N Go, but perhaps with some variations.
The SRT Black Pack, meanwhile, will only be available for the Charger / Challenger SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye and the infernal SRT Super Stock. It includes dark-colored emblems and Black Nickel tailpipe trims (for the Charger SRT because they are standard on the Challenger SRT). The same set can be ordered for the Durango SRT 392 crossover with V8 6.4 HEMI (482 HP and 637 Nm).
