Dodge will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Charger Daytona with a special model

American manufacturer Dodge will honor the 50th anniversary model Charger Daytona limited edition version. The circulation of new items will be 501 car – exactly as it was released the original “Daytona” in 1969.

The full title of the anniversary special version – the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition. She received an exclusive blue color for the body and special decor: contrasting nameplate and a sticker with the word Daytona on the spoiler and the trunk lid, as the original model.

Seats stitched with blue thread in body color, also they were stripe Daytona. Especially for limited modification of the produced instrument panel with carbon fibre steering wheel with flat lower part.

But the special model will differ not only in appearance – the engineers modified V-shaped “eight” from the usual “Hell cats” and crossed it for 10 horsepower. Now the output of the motor special version is 727 strength and 881 Nm of torque.

The manufacturer did not disclose the price. Possible, approximate figures will be announced on August 17 during the public debut of the Charger Daytona in the USA. Pre-orders should open this fall, and to dealers the car will arrive next year.
