The conceptual version, most likely, will demonstrate, first of all, the external design of the future flagship. Series production of the BMW X8 is expected to begin in December 2022.
The BMW Concept XM anticipates the style of the brand’s new luxury models. In the near future, a new generation 7-series sedan should appear. Then, at the end of next spring, we are waiting for the restyling of the BMW X7. The aforementioned BMW X8 will debut at the end of the year.
The premiere of the BMW Concept XM will be closed and is intended primarily for potential buyers of the future model. No engine or technical information is expected at the presentation.
The X8 is slated to go on sale in 2023.
Let’s add that the current X7 is selling stably well both in Europe and in the USA. For 3 quarters of 2021, 4230 Europeans purchased the crossover. In the United States, 16,470 crossovers were sold during the same period, which is understandable given the American sympathy for large SUVs.
