The full debut of the novelty will take place in a few weeks.
The first crossover has recently appeared in the line of “charged” N-models of Hyundai, and the premiere of the first N-sedan is planned very soon. In the USA and a number of other countries it will be called Hyundai Elantra N, and in South Korea it will be sold under the name Hyundai Avante N. The debut of the novelty is promised in a few weeks, but for now the brand has presented a new portion of teaser images, already without camouflage.
Like other N-models, the performance Elantra will have a developed aerodynamic body kit (including a wing on the luggage compartment lid), large rims and large exhaust pipes. As expected, the full-fledged Elantra N will look much more aggressive than the already declassified “heated” version of the Elantra N Line.
According to preliminary data, the Hyundai Elantra N sedan will technically be completely unified with the European i30 N hatchback. That is, under the hood of the novelty there will be a 2.0-liter turbo unit that produces 250-280 hp. At the same time, the choice will be a manual transmission and a “robot” with two clutches. You shouldn’t rely on four-wheel drive: the top modification will be front-wheel drive.
