The company has made some improvements to the Ultraviolette F77 ahead of the upcoming premiere.
Indian startup Ultraviolette first unveiled the F77 project in September 2018. According to preliminary estimates, the premiere was planned for 2019. The company continued to tease everyone interested with various teasers, and now it has updated the bike before the premiere. There is always something that needs to be improved before rolling out the finished product. The date of the premiere was also influenced by the pandemic. According to preliminary data, Ultraviolette F77 will go into production by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
What changes have been made? First, a new color LCD tidy has been installed. Secondly, some changes have been made to the power plant. At the moment, the electric bike produces 27 kW of power on the level of a 300 cc gasoline bike. At the same time, the Ultraviolette F77 accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds. The previous version of the Ultraviolette F77 had a cruising range of 130 to 150 km, but the changes made it possible to increase it over 150 km.
The Ultraviolette factory is located in Bangalore. It will be launched shortly. The facility will be able to produce 10,000 units per year. The production lines are equipped for the production of batteries, chassis components and body kit parts.
