Electric Hyundai Lafesta EV officially unveiled in China

World attention was firmly riveted to the motor show in Los Angeles, where it was shown a lot of interesting innovations. However, Hyundai held a private presentation of a new electric vehicle in China.

The new sedan Hyundai Lafesta EV’s fully electric powertrain will hit the market in early 2020. Moreover, the appearance is significantly different from the standard version of Lafesta.

Changes have occurred in the aft, which features a new bumper with revised aerodynamics at the bottom and reflective stripes at bottom skirt. The model also lost the exhaust system, had the unique alloy wheels with special aerodynamics, and got its own palette of colors with a new shade Shooting Star, designed specifically for electric vehicles.

In the cabin, not much change has occurred compared to petrol Hyundai Lafesta. Catches the eye is the instrument panel with integrated 7-inch display as well as a 10.25-inch display multimedia system.

As the power unit uses a single electric motor capable of developing up to 200 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The power source was a battery with a capacity of 56.5 kWh, allowing it to travel up to 490 miles on a full charge.
