The Spanish edition of Motor.es has learned the details of Nissan’s new electric crossover with a design similar to that of the Ariya, but at a more attractive price. But the dimensions of the novelty can be compared with the Juke, and it will most likely share the components and assemblies with the recently presented Renault MeganE. According to preliminary data, the electric car will only have a front-wheel drive version, and on a single charge it will be able to drive about 400 kilometers. The model is expected to debut in 2023.
The unnamed B-class battery SUV will be the third electric vehicle in Nissan’s lineup and the second electric crossover from the Japanese brand. It is positioned as a zero-emission alternative to the Juke, while the design of the car will have many similarities with the Ariya. Motor.es has shared a render that allows you to get a first impression of the future crossover.
It will be based on the new CMF-EV platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, on which Renault MeganE is built. In the published render, the crossover is depicted with a sloping roof, but it looks more practical than the coupe-like Ariya. The approximate overall length of the model will be 4.2 meters. Europe will become the priority market for the novelty.
The electric car is already on sale in Japan for 4.51 million yen (about $ 41,000), and will later go to dealers in Europe, the United States and China.
