The Jeep brand has presented a special video in honor of its 80th anniversary. It featured major historical models, but focused on the new Wrangler electric SUV, due in 2025.
Based on the video shown, the all-electric Jeep Wrangler should arrive in July 2025. It will be equipped with a driver biometrics recognition function, which allows the car to restore settings even before the driver gets behind the wheel. This will make the tire pressure monitoring technology dynamic. For example, when hitting an obstacle, the system will quickly adjust the tire pressure.
The future Jeep Wrangler will be able to power a campground with its battery or, for example, share energy with another car. It will have synchronization with a drone for video filming or for surveying the area.
The Jeep Wrangler will be fully autonomous by 2030. It will be possible to go on a trekking route or rafting down the river, after setting the destination to the car. She will get there on her own and meet her owners. And since the SUV will be able to drive itself, the chairs can be folded into bed and enjoy the view of the sky.
In addition, in the last frame of the video presented, the Jeep Wrangler electric SUV is driving along the bottom of the reservoir. Complete waterproofing of the machine in the future may require very non-standard and very expensive solutions.
