The Electric Assist Vehicles (EAV) startup entered the electric vehicle market back in 2019 with an ATV designed to deliver orders around the city, and options with tractor trailers and refrigeration units were soon added. Last year, a two-seater microtaxi was added to the lineup, and now there is also a multi-purpose truck.
Lincs is based on an aluminum skateboard platform. The powerplant includes two electric motors in the wheel hubs and a removable lithium-ion battery under the floor. The electric car was made with an eye to use in limited areas, and not on long routes, since the range is small – only 160 km.
In the images, Lincs is shown as a flat platform with a small driver’s cab, and it can be located either on the right or on the left, depending on the traffic in the customer’s country. In addition, the model will have several body types and the ability to combine with several trucks into a single autonomous “road train”. However, the timing of the implementation of such an idea has not yet been disclosed.
