“Everyone …as he wants”: exclusive coupe from Ferrari

Ferrari has unveiled the BR20 coupe, based on the discontinued GTC4Lusso shooting break. As part of a redesign paid in full by an unnamed customer, the GTC4Lusso replaced the roof and redesigned the interior, and added details to remind others of the other models from Maranello. Two-door BR20 was released in a single copy as part of the Ferrari Special program.

The most noticeable innovation in the exterior is the sloping roof, which replaced the rear of the “donor”. At the rear, it rests on the iconic piled-up pillars characteristic of Ferrari since the 1967 330 GTC Speciale. The all-wheel drive coupe got narrower headlights, which were moved closer to the edge of the front end. As conceived by the designers, this decision should remind of other models with V12 engines – for example, 410 Superamerica and 500 Superfast.

In addition, BR20 got a new radiator grill with a carbon fiber insert and a different bumper with triangular air intakes for engine cooling. On the sides there was a cladding of sills made of carbon fiber, at the rear – air ducts formed by two intersecting lines of the body, and a more pronounced diffuser. Wheels in the size of 20 inches with yellow brake calipers were also made specifically for the model.

The interior of the coupe is trimmed with vintage brown leather, the seats are dark brown. Due to the roof replacement, a number of interior elements had to be redone, as well as the rear row of seats, which no longer fit in the cabin, had to be removed.

The BR20’s motor is similar to the GTC4Lusso: it is an aspirated V12 6.3 with 690 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque. Shooting break he accelerated to a maximum of 322 kilometers per hour, and the first “hundred” GTC4Lusso reached 3.4 seconds. Ferrari decided to keep the performance of the coupe a secret.

Edition BR20 – only one copy, like that created within the framework of the same program Omologata. The customer will have to pay for the full designer work, including countless sketches and 3D renders, as well as for the production of an exclusive.g
