FAW Group first entered the top hundred of the rating of the world’s largest companies, Fortune Global 500!

According to the published in July 2019 the next rating of world’s largest Fortune Global 500 companies – FAW Group ranked 87-th place! During the year the company’s position has improved from 38 positions! Only Fortune Global 500 this year included 129 Chinese companies. According to published reports, the company’s turnover for the last financial year amounted to $89.8 per billion, which is 29% higher than a year earlier. The number of employees is more than 142 thousand people.

FAW Group – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of cars, trucks and buses. Founded in 1953, the company is the oldest and the automobile group of China. Annual sales exceed three million units. At the end of the first half of 2019, the company produced 1.6 million cars.

FAW Group for several dozen years collaborating with the world’s leading automakers, producing cars under its own brand and the Volkswagen, Audi, Mazda, Toyota.

The company is represented in 40 countries of the world, it owns 28 subsidiaries and 18 companies FAW owns a controlling stake. In the US, EU and China has 5 R&D centers of the company.

As previously stated, FAW plans to enter Ukrainian market of cars and trucks. Recently, FAW signed an exclusive agreement with the AIS Group is one of Ukraine’s largest operators for the sale and service of cars, buses and machinery. In accordance with the terms of signed agreements, the AIS Group will implement the import, retail sale as trucks (with capacity from 1.5 to 40.0 tonnes) and passenger vehicles (sedans and crossovers) brand FAW, as well as to develop a dealer network, organization of warranty and post-warranty and service maintenance. The start of sales of FAW cars in Ukraine is scheduled for September 2019.
