The Yachting version with a soft sliding roof has appeared in the Fiat 500X subcompact range. The first showcases the most expensive and luxurious Collectors’ Edition, dedicated to one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in Italy, Yacht Club Capri, and painted in the exclusive Blu Venezia color scheme combined with a blue fabric roof. The handles of the doors and side mirrors of this crossover are made of polished chrome, and the line surrounding the body is designed to revive the images of luxury yachts.
The 500X open-top version for Fiat is a curiosity, because nothing like this has been offered before. Inspired by sailing, it features new 18-inch wheels with navy accents, white seats with blue piping, aluminum door sills with Yachting branding and a massive mahogany front panel insert – a nod to classic pleasure boats.
There is no data on the power plant of the “sea” crossover. The usual one is offered with a FireFly 1.0 petrol turbo engine (120 hp; six-speed manual transmission), 1.6 e TorQ fours (110 hp) and FireFly 1.3 (150 hp; six-speed “robot”), as well as MultiJet diesels II volume 1.3 (95 HP; five-speed “mechanics”), 1.6 (120 HP; “robot”) and 2.0 liters (150 HP; nine-speed automatic). p>
Along with the Fiat 500X Yachting, the 500 Cabrio Yachting is presented (in the title photo). The cabriolet features a Blu Dipinto di Blu body paint, chrome décor and ivory seats with Poltrona Frau leather inlays and embroidered model logos. The front panel of the machine, like the 500X Yachting, is decorated with wood. Collector’s Editions 500 Yachting and 500X Yachting will be sold in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. The first 500 cars will receive badges with a serial number in the series and an abbreviated country designation.
