Toyota has released a new teaser video for the next generation Land Cruiser SUV. The debut of the car, which will receive the index “300”, will take place on June 9th.
In a short video, you can see the front of the future car. The SUV will receive a large radiator grille with horizontal slats and narrowed diode optics. However, Land Cruiser 300 has already been caught in the lenses of photo spies more than once and its appearance is not a secret.
The car will be built on its own platform using the latest TNGA architecture solutions. The car will be available in five- and seven-seat versions.
The range of new engines will include V-shaped six-cylinder engines. For example, customers will be offered a 3.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 415 horsepower. Now the same engine is installed on the Lexus LS 500. In addition, the SUV will receive a 3.3-liter turbodiesel. The power of this unit will be 309 forces. Both motors will work in conjunction with a ten-speed “automatic”.
The car will also have a hybrid version – its debut will take place later, in 2022. But the Japanese SUV will no longer have V8 engines. The company decided to abandon them due to environmental considerations.
