The very first McLaren P1 hybrid supercar will be auctioned at Silverstone Auctions. For a very rare car, which is in excellent condition, they plan to help out from 885 thousand to 985 thousand pounds sterling.
McLaren P1 is one of the representatives of the so-called “holy trinity of hypercars”, which also includes the Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari. A coupe with an ultralight carbon fiber chassis and active aerodynamic elements was produced from 2013 to 2015. During this time, only 375 copies of the model were collected.
The British hypercar is powered by a hybrid powertrain based on a 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine paired with an electric motor. In total, the units produce 916 hp. and 900 Nm of torque.
The coupe can accelerate from zero to the first “hundred” in 2.8 seconds, and its maximum speed is 347 km per hour.
The car for sale was owned by only two people from the same family, and its odometer reads 3666 miles (approximately 5900 km). The batteries were replaced in 2018, and it has recently undergone a full service.
