In Japan, at the Toyota plant, they photographed the body, door and chassis of the new Land Cruiser 300. From the images it can be concluded that the SUV will retain the frame architecture and form factor of its predecessor. The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is expected to premiere in March, but this information has not been officially confirmed.
The Kurdistan Automotive Blog draws attention to the difference in the bodies of the Land Cruiser 200 and Land Cruiser 300: the new SUV has different rear fenders with an upward glazing line and an original, wider hood.
The design of the door cards and the shape of the rear doors have been rethought: the speakers were placed on the same level with the handles, there is no handrail extended diagonally; the shape of the armrest has changed.
A change in concept in favor of a monocoque body was avoided: the new Land Cruiser remained faithful to the spar frame. The preservation of the naturally aspirated petrol V8 4.6 1UR-FE and the multi-cylinder 4.5-liter diesel engine is questionable: in most markets, the SUV will switch to petrol turbo-sixes; a variant with a hybrid power plant is also possible.
Recall that the interior of the new Land Cruiser 300 was previously seen in spy photos. Insiders claim that the SUV is less than a month away from the world premiere.
