Following Mercedes: BMW painted the Seven in two colours

The premiere of the BMW 7 Series Sedan in the limited edition Shining Shadow Special Edition, the main feature of which is the two-tone body, took place at the Shanghai Motor Show. A similar paint scheme is used for the Mercedes-Maybach range.

For the basis of the special version, BMW took the long-wheelbase modification 760 Li xDrive, the length of which reaches 5.26 meters. The company said that it takes almost a week to paint the sedan’s body in two colors – silver on top and burgundy on the bottom. The BMW 7 Series Shining Shadow also features 20-inch 15-spoke wheels with an original design and the highest level of equipment.

The cabin uses white leather with stitching and lacquered wood decorative inserts, all seats are equipped with a massage function, and screens mounted on the backs of the front seats are provided for passengers in the second row.

Such a “seven” is set in motion by a top-end 6.0-liter V12 engine with a capacity of 585 horsepower, which provides the car with acceleration from zero to “hundred” in 3.8 seconds.

The 7 Series Shining Shadow Sedan will be released in a limited edition of 25 units, which will be sold in the Chinese market. The two-color “seven” is valued at 2.6 million yuan ($ 400,400).
