According to a recent interview, KIA’s head of customer service, Artur Martins, hinted that the company’s lineup will have more fast and powerful GT-branded electric vehicles.

Mr Martins also pointed to the fact that the E-GMP platform on which the EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric crossover is built provides a lot of flexibility in terms of creating completely different models. But GT-branded EVs will certainly differ in terms of performance to satisfy a more enthusiastic crowd of buyers, as do current GT-branded models on offer today, such as the Stinger GT.

“It is important that we have these products and their derivatives in our portfolio, which are slightly more pronounced and offer the consumer a truly immersive experience of interacting with electric vehicles, which in the past were considered boring types of vehicles. The KIA EV6 GT uses two electric motors that together create 577 hp. power and 740 Nm of instant torque transmitted to all four wheels, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.
