At the RM Sotheby’s auction in St. Moritz, Switzerland, it is planned to sell the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 500 SUV on September 17.
The vehicle for sale is one of 200 Final Edition convertibles that the company celebrated the discontinuation of the open body model. It is planned to earn up to 350 thousand Swiss francs for the car. The price of the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV in Ukraine starts from 136,300 dollars.
The Mercedes-Benz G 500 Cabriolet Final Edition with soft top debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. In addition to various design accents and thematic logos, the “farewell” model was equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine with 388 hp. and 540 Nm of maximum torque. The open SUV was able to accelerate to the first “hundred” in 6.2 seconds.
Auction house RM Sotheby’s claims that all 200 copies of the G 500 convertible planned for production were sold out even before the official debut. The copy for sale was released on October 21, 2013. It features a black exterior with chrome AMG trims, xenon optics, two-tone Designo leather interior and an AMG Performance steering wheel. The car put up for sale traveled only 5,452 kilometers.
