This is not a collectible version. However, if the next owner continues to operate at a similar pace, then in a few years even this 2-door coupe with V8 and “mechanics”, usual for those years, could rise in price.

Ford Mustang in new car condition and low mileage is nothing new. People have been keeping them for over 50 years. However, usually these are some kind of rare or limited versions, “one of ..”, i.e. those that had some value from the very beginning. We are talking about cars like the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. However, this 2005 Mustang GT is not at all like that. This is an ordinary Mustang GT with V8 and “mechanics” 2005.

The Mustang listed on Bring a Trailer is a perfectly preserved 2005 car. For him, time almost stood still. Its Windveil Blue Metallic paint shines like 16 years ago. The body is in perfect condition. The 17-inch wheels are new, without any curbs. All exterior elements of the GT version are present and also in excellent condition.

Inside the car, the situation is similar to the exterior. If you do not know anything about the car, then the interior may seem like a new car. Gray leather on the seats with virtually no marks that have ever sat on it. The aluminum finish is also in excellent condition and free from any traces of use.

The engine compartment also does not stand out from the overall picture. Under the hood is a 4.6-liter V8 with a capacity of 300 “horses”, working in tandem with a five-speed manual transmission. There is no dust under the hood, no traces of leaking fluids. Although the years are not good for a lot of rubber parts. Perhaps after some time, some of the gaskets and seals will need to be replaced.

For what reason a person bought this S197 generation Ford Mustang in 2005 and decided to keep it – is not reported. Many people buy and store cars in order to sell them at a higher price later. Some people really manage to make a little money on this. However, when it comes to a regular 2005 Ford Mustang GT, perhaps waiting just 16 years is not enough. Whether this is so, we will soon find out. There are fans of this retro style and V8 on the “mechanics” even now.
