An unusual limousine is sold abroad – the car is built on the basis of the full-size Ford Explorer crossover. The price of the car is $ 59,998.
Limousines come in many different shapes and sizes, as there is ample evidence that any make and model can be turned into one large limousine. Limousines have grown from elongated sedans to elongated crossovers and SUVs following consumer trends, which could lead to some interesting designs. Take the 2016 Ford Explorer, for example. It has been stretched to give a typical limousine interior, but it also retains the third-row seats.
The extra pair of seats in the back is good, although it seems like third-row passengers can’t take advantage of any extra space added between the wheels.
The photos show that the distance between the third and second row seats has not changed compared to the standard Explorer, and that it looks quite cramped in the back.
The rest of the Explorer is a standard limousine. On one side is a bench seat with seat belts that sits opposite a large minibar. The limousine also has a TV in the rear and a rear sunroof. Under the hood of this crossover limousine is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine from Ford, which produces 365 horsepower and 474 Nm of torque. It works with a six-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The body of this Explorer is finished in Ford White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat and the interior is finished in Ebony Black leather. The seller is asking for $ 59,998 for the redesigned Explorer, slightly more than the original’s $ 45,000 price tag. Judging by the published photos, the car is not in the best technical condition.
