Ford F-150 Raptor deflate?

Hennessey intends to seriously increase the output of the Ford F-150 Raptor, but before the tuners had to find out how much the 3.5-liter turbo six actually generates.

According to the passport, this power unit produces 457 hp. and 692 Nm, however, dyno tests recorded 366 hp. and 622 Nm. It turns out that the power loss is 19.7%, and the torque is 10%.

Hennessey plans to release a new upgrade package VelociRaptor 600. Such a pickup will cost around $ 85,950, for comparison: the base “Raptor” costs $ 64,100. The power plant output will be raised to 608 hp. and 843 Nm, while acceleration from zero to 97 km / h will be reduced to 4.2 seconds (was 5.3 seconds).

To squeeze out an additional 151 hp, Hennessey will add an upgraded air intake system, intercooler and reprogram the ECM.

For an extra $ 17,950, the pickup can be equipped with the Stage 1 Off-Road Package. This includes a new front bumper with integrated LEDs, a rear bumper, 20-inch wheels with 35-inch tires, and a retuned suspension with increased ground clearance.

It is curious that the “Fordists” are also preparing a more productive version of the “Raptor” with the prefix R. The “Six” there will be replaced with a “Eight” with a capacity of over 730 hp.
