In his interview, representative Ford noted that the future of electric Transit van will get the same battery that electric crossover Ford Mustang Mach-E.
There is no doubt that electric crossover Mustang Mach-E is a revolutionary model for Ford. Built on the platform of Global Electrified 1 (GE1), which is actually a heavily modified version of the previous architecture C2, this is currently the most technologically advanced car of the American brand. According to the head of Ford’s global purchasing power units Lisa Drake, this step ensures that the production line of batteries will operate at maximum performance, which in turn means that the production of batteries will cost the company in the “acceptable” amount of the Latter is the key to create profitable electric car.

Batteries crossover Mustang Mach-E and the upcoming electric van Transit are made by LG factory in Poland, where there is a special Assembly line for Ford. Lisa Drake said that this line will operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
