The new Land Cruiser, which with the change of generation will probably be assigned the index 300, was again noticed at the tests. A fresh spy shot of the car, caught this time in a more favorable angle – “in front” – was published by the CarAdvice resource.
Judging by the photo, the front of the “300th” is unified with the current Tundra pickup truck, recognizable by a larger radiator grille and pronounced headlights with massive strips of led DRL. The front bumper will complete the look, distinguished from the previous one by a new design of fog lights and a rebuilt plastic “plumage”.
The interior of the “300th” has not yet been revealed, but the dimensions, according to insiders, will be about the same as the current Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The only exceptions will be the length and width, which will grow by 10/20 mm, as well as the wheelbase, whose size will increase by about 50 mm due to the update of the “cart”.
Details about the technical stuffing of the future SUV are also classified. According to one version, it will be equipped with a completely new line of engines, which includes 3 in-line V6 units at once: a 3.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a more powerful hybrid based on it and a 3.3-liter turbodiesel engine.
The release date of the Land Cruiser 300 has not yet been approved and, judging by the camouflage film on the prototype, you can definitely not wait for it until the fall of 2021.
