The Japanese automaker has decided to convert its Suzuki Jimny SUV into a commercial vehicle to help the model survive in the European market. The environmental requirements for the LCV segment are less stringent. Now the brand has presented a special version of its car.
Coffee and car lovers rejoice because Suzuki has turned the LCV Jimny into a mobile coffee shop on wheels. The car, dubbed the Jimny Beans, will be used throughout the UK for media and promotional events across Suzuki.
The usual Jimny LCV has lost the back row of seats, but Jimny Beans goes even further, offering only one seat for the driver. The vacant space was given for a 57-liter water tank with a 3M filtration system.
Under the rear section of the floor there is an LPG tank. Its installation required the introduction of a special exhaust system with a side outlet. The Jimny Beans cafe bar can run on gas or electricity and even be recharged from the mains thanks to two additional high-capacity 125 Ah 12 V batteries.
The coffee itself is prepared using a high-performance Fracino coffee machine.
The unit has been integrated into the rear of the Jimny with a custom work area with an aluminum top. The set also includes a compact refrigerator with a drawer made by Waeco, and a hot water dispenser makes it possible to prepare tea for those who are indifferent to coffee.
As a reminder, Suzuki Jimny left the UK market in 2020 due to emission standards, but returned in early 2021 with a Jimny LCV. Such a commercial vehicle is equipped with a 101-horsepower liter engine. The Jimny Beans will make their public debut at the Southampton International Boat Show September 10-20.
