The history of the One hybrid coupe (1,054 hp, 1,400 Nm) has been going on since 2015, but the denouement is close. The Mercedes-AMG division has hinted at the premiere of the hypercar in Munich (IAA Mobility, September 7-12). The Germans did not report anything new about the car, however, all 275 copies have long been sold out at prices of 2.275 million euros. Forza Horizon 5 is a consolation. Mercedes-AMG says the game gives the two-door a “hyper-realistic view” and “delights in the level of detail” (video).
At Gamescom in Cologne (August 25-27), Microsoft unveiled the gameplay (video) and artwork for Forza Horizon 5, which featured a hypercar. The simulator from Playground Games will be released on November 9 on PC and Xbox X / S, One. Pre-orders are accepted at prices of $ 79.99-99.99.
According to specialists from Affalterbach, the game reproduces acceleration, braking, handling, agility and active aerodynamics with the highest accuracy.
“The exclusive livery makes it clear that the car will not be available for purchase in the real world,” notes Mercedes-AMG.
Judging by the teasers, the One coupe, unlike other models, does not descend by parachute, but “hyperrealistic” jumps in reverse from the transport plane directly onto the battered asphalt. The hypercar finds itself in an open world with the landscapes of Mexico, where it develops more than 350 km / h, without fear of off-road. Its main rivals are the Ford Bronco Badlands and the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
“We can now offer a large group of enthusiasts a unique experience of driving our hypercar in the best and most impressive way in the gaming industry,” sums up the head of Mercedes-AMG Philip Schiemer.
