Geely Xingyue L unveiled before premiere


The loud novelty will be presented to the general public at the Shanghai Motor Show, which will open its doors on April 19.

The Chinese company Geely is preparing to enter the market of its new car. According to the portal “New Cars”, we are talking about the flagship Xingyue L. Technical details and appearance of the car have already been declassified. The dimensions of the car are 4770x1895x1689 mm with a distance between the axles of 2 845 mm.

The car is based on the CMA trolley from the Swedish premium brand Volvo. The exterior of the car turned out to be very bright and stylish – it is worth highlighting the massive bumpers, the radiator grille, divided into vertical sections and taillights with LED filling, combined into a monoblock. In the side part, the embossed stampings on the doors are striking.

Almost the entire front panel of the passenger compartment is a screen that is divided into three parts. The first part is responsible for the dashboard, the second is the multimedia system, and the third part was specially provided for the front passenger.

Buyers will be offered 2 versions of the 2.0-liter Drive-E turbo engine – with a capacity of 218 and 238 hp. respectively.

The base engine will work with a 7-band robotized transmission, and a more powerful engine will receive an 8-speed automatic transmission in a pair.

The equipment of the car turned out to match its appearance – all-round cameras, intelligent cruise control, collision avoidance system, high-quality leather seats and a panoramic roof with a sunroof. Later, the new Geely Xingyue L will become available ton buyers.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has shared the first official images of its Santa Cruz pickup. The official premiere of the novelty will take place on April 15 this year.
