Last year, the Genesis brand, which is part of the Hyundai concern, published data on its new electric car – the Genesis GV60 crossover. The car’s entry into the European market is scheduled for the summer of this year, in connection with which the company has published the main characteristics of the model.
So, it became known that the Genesis GV60 will be based on the E-GMP platform, on which other electric cars of the concern are built. The novelty will borrow the engine range from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 platform. Thus, the basic version of the crossover will receive rear-wheel drive and one 222 hp engine.
The all-wheel drive modification will get a second electric motor with 99 hp, and the most powerful version will use two 222-horsepower electric power units at once. As for the battery, the standard model will get a 73kWh battery. More powerful versions will be able to drive up to 400 kilometers on a single charge.
The cost of the Genesis GV60 and its configuration will be announced closer to the start of sales.
