TheKoreanCarBlog has the first spy photos of the interior of the next-generation Genesis G90 flagship sedan. Judging by the pictures, one of the features of the interior will be the absence of traditional mechanical door handles, which will be replaced with buttons.
As for the technical part, at the moment it is known that for the first time an adaptive air suspension will be available for the model. At the same time, the “older” version of the large sedan will retain the naturally aspirated V8 gasoline engine.
As previously reported, the next Genesis G90 will be equipped with two LiDAR optical rangefinders, as well as a set of cameras and sensors that will provide a semi-automatic control function.
The sedan equipment will correspond to the third level autopilot. This means that an immediate response will not be required from the driver, since the artificial intelligence itself will be able to take the necessary actions depending on the specific situation. However, the driver must be ready to take over at any time.
According to preliminary data, the premiere of the flagship Genesis G90 sedan of the second generation will take place before the end of this year, and its sales will begin in 2022.
