GM designer reveals revamped Camaro

Due to falling sales over the past 6 months, the American company is simplifying the range of sports cars. However, there is some good news for the 2022 model year. Atom Barry, a General Motors designer, has shared an image of the 2022 Camaro in a new color. The bright orange paint that can be seen in the picture is called Vivid Orange, and it replaces the previous Crush Orange. GM Authority says the new shade looks slightly darker and more shiny compared to the 2021 high-gloss orange paint.

We do not know the surcharge for the new additional color, although it will most likely simply replace the existing one. Crush Orange was priced at $ 395 and we expect the same or very similar premium to the new shade of orange.

Bright orange won’t be the only new color in the Camaro’s palette for the new model year. The new Rapid Blue trim will replace the Shock color from 2021, the source notes. The updated sixth-generation Camaro is expected to go into production this September. The 2022 car is likely to bring some minor but still important improvements, although little is known at this point other than new colors.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
