For the first time in its history, the American magazine Time has compiled a list of the 100 most significant companies in the world, which, according to the publication, “have the greatest impact on the future.” These include four automakers: American General Motors and Tesla, German Volkswagen and Chinese BYD.
Concern General Motors, whose head Marie Barra got on the cover of the magazine, was sent to the category of “Giants”. The company was included in the list for its contribution to the development of green technologies. However, the editors noted a significant difference between GM and Tesla.

Chinese BYD, backed by American investor Warren Buffett, has been named Innovator for developing a wide variety of electric mobility solutions.
