Volkswagen Golf in March 2021 became the best-selling model in the European market, climbing to the top line of the sales ranking for the first time since the beginning of the year. As a reminder, in February Peugeot 208 was the bestseller of the month, and Toyota Yaris in January.
So, according to JATO Dynamics, Volkswagen Golf became the best-selling model in Europe in March 2021 with 26,265 units sold (-43%). Peugeot 208 took the 2nd place, sales of which amounted to 25,429 cars (-3%). Next up is the Opel / Vauxhall Corsa – sales of this model dropped 20% to 24,540 units.
The Tesla Model 3 electric car took 4th place with 23,755 European buyers (+ 52%). Toyota Yaris closes the top 5 with a circulation of 23,033 cars (-9%).
The top 10 best-selling models on the European market included Volkswagen T-Roc (21,772 units, -7%), Citroen C3 (21,426 cars, -14%), Renault Clio (21,219 units, -47 %), Peugeot 2008 (20,960 vehicles, + 12%) and Fiat 500 (20,832 vehicles, -14%).
