The CUPRA Formentor is set to quickly become the true centerpiece of the Cupra range. The Spanish firm’s SUV, which is playing a leading role and rapidly gaining ground in the world of automotive customization, has received a new package of improvements from the leading specialist in the field of tuning GTR Auto.

GTR Auto places particular emphasis on the possibilities offered by the new Formentor and above all on the balance between quality and performance that CUPRA models boast in comparison to their direct competitors. In addition, it currently serves as a flagship. The debut of the new CUPRA Formentor VZ5 with a capacity of about 400 hp. is a vivid example of this.

To make the Formentor a more unique and exclusive model, GTR Auto has focused on aesthetics. And all this without losing sight of the aerodynamics and cornering behavior of the car. The exterior design of the Formentor is a body kit consisting of a front lip, spoiler and rear diffuser. Added to this are the 20 ” GTR Auto Wheels GC02 alloy wheels in satin black. The SUV was also fitted with H&R springs, the body was polished and ceramic finished, and the windows were rainproof.

Under the hood of the GTR Auto factory is a 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 310 horsepower. and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, a unit linked to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. In addition, it boasts a 4Drive traction system. This engine allows the Formentor to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h. The company claims an average fuel consumption of 8.6 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions of 192 g / km according to the WLTP cycle.
