Haval, part of Great Wall Motor, has released the first images of its new model, the Chitu compact crossover.
The forthcoming novelty is the 4th product built on the Lemon modular platform developed by Great Wall in-house. On the wheelbase, the Chitu cross repeats First Love – 2700 millimeters, but in overall length it is slightly less than it.
The length, width and height of the Chitu crossover are 4450, 1841 and 1618 millimeters, respectively. The exterior of the novelty is made in the corporate style of Haval, in proportions it practically repeats First Love. Surely 2 models are unified with each other according to the body frame. However, the Chitu has a more aggressive front end, with narrower headlights and lights.
Haval Chitu will receive a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 150/184 horsepower. Both can only be combined with a 7-speed preselective “robot” and front-wheel drive.
A full presentation of Haval Chitu will take place in April 2021. Then all the technical details of the crossover will be revealed.
