The company Hennessey on Wednesday, December 16, showed a very powerful hypercar Venom F5.
Deliveries of the Venom F5, which will be released in a limited edition of 24 copies, will begin next year. Speaking about the technical equipment of the novelty, it is equipped with a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 1817 hp (1617 Nm). Together with the engine, a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drive system work. The car can accelerate to 100 km / h in less than three seconds and reach a maximum speed of 500 km/h.
The new model is quite light – it weighs only 1360 kg, and this was achieved thanks to a custom-made carbon fiber chassis, an 89-kilogram carbon tube and carbon body panels. In the cabin, in turn, it is worth noting the presence of a steering wheel, inspired by the steering wheel of the aircraft and Formula 1 cars. Using the steering wheel, you can control the headlights, windscreen wipers, turn signals and driving modes.
Hennessey will offer five F5 driving modes-Sport, Track, Drag, Wet and F5. And only the latter will provide the maximum available power of the machine. Note that the novelty has Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2 tires at the rear with a dimension of 345/50, which is worn on 20-inch wheels. The front features similar 265/35 tires with 19-inch forged aluminum wheels.
The F5 model will also be available with the optional Track Pack, which adds an aggressive front splitter and rear spoiler with an anti-wing. As for the cost of the new product, you will have to pay at least $ 2.1 million for it.
