In July, the British motoring again showed a good sales trend. And not only in comparison with June of 2020, month recovery after quarantine. The numbers are good, even when compared to July 2019.
According to figures published by the MCIA (Motorcycle Industry Association) in the UK, sales in June increased by 14.8 percent, and in July, is soared by 37.9 percent in comparison with July of 2019. Given scooters sales grew by 41.9 percent and reached 14 000 in July 2020.
While in the United States and more popularity began to use off-road motorcycles, the British prefer to buy nakedi. In total it sold 4 452 standard motorcycles, and the growth in this category amounted to 29.4 percent. Sale Enduro grew by 62.7 percent, and curandero – 47.6 percent.
In June, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 sales surpassed BMW R1250GS, and in July best-seller was the Honda CB125F (233 units). In second place R1250GS – 207 units. Sales of scooters grew by 62.8 percent and amounted to 2 879 units. In this category the best sold scooters Honda PCX 125 (458 units).
In the MCIA also noted a sharp increase in novices undergoing CBT which allows you to manage 125-kupovini petrol scooters / motorcycles or electrocycle power up to 11 kW.
