The Tampa Honda dealership from the US state of Florida exhibited in the showroom a perfectly preserved CRX Si coupe, which, at a venerable age and solid mileage, has an original engine and transmission.
Tampa Honda got the “millionaire” back in 2015 from the previous owner and decided to keep the car for itself to demonstrate the reliability of the brand’s cars. The coupe was only equipped with a sticker on the windshield indicating the mileage and warnings “Please look, but do not touch.” Journalists of the Motor1 edition drew attention to the car.
The car retains its original interior, which cannot be said about the body, which was completely repainted about eight or nine years ago. According to the dealership, the car retained its original 1.6-liter engine (106 hp, 132 Nm) and a five-speed manual transmission. Its current owner is not going to sell the car.
Honda CRX was produced from 1983 to 1991. New, this model was highly regarded for handling, economy and interesting design, and over time it became popular in the aftermarket, especially among young people.
