Honda is not yet very active and is not in a hurry with premieres, but the Japanese manufacturer is working on a series of new motorcycles.
Honda NT1100 is a sports tour based on the Honda Africa Twin. The trademark was registered this year, and recently the motorcycle was certified in Europe in two versions: NT1100A and NT1100D.
More precisely, the NT1100A is the 238kg base model, while the NT1100D is heavier (248kg) due to the Honda DCT automatic transmission. Both bikes are powered by an in-line twin, which is used successfully on the Africa Twin.
According to Honda’s plan, the new NT1100 will replace the Crossrunner and VFR800, which were not upgraded to the new Euro standards, which is why they were discontinued.
