Honda will produce the Jazz hybrid for Europe


The Japanese company has confirmed that the Jazz will be offered in Europe exclusively with a hybrid power plant. The car will release next year.

This information appeared at the Frankfurt motor show during a demonstration of the production version of Honda e, the first electric car company. Vice President HondaMotorEurope Tom Gardner said that by next year will be available to a new generation of Jazz, with a hybrid power plant.

Brand strategy Honda “ElectricVision” for Europe is that all instances in 2025 were offered with electric motors. At the moment the Europeans the only available hybrid, the CR-V crossover Hybrid.


The novelty should get a system with two engines i-MMD. Still no information about gasoline engine, which will install under the hood of the car. However, we can assume that this will be a 1.5-liter engine with a robotized gearbox.

The Japanese company Honda introduced their ideas about charging vehicles and energy management. Part of their development included the charger Honda Power, it can charge the batteries without stopping at the station.
