Just over a month ago, Hyundai introduced the all-new Elantra, and now we are able to observe the testing of the prototype of a novelty in a more powerful version of the N Line. Body seen cars completely covered in camouflage tape.
“Heavy” masking bothers to see what has changed compared to a base Elantra.
Differences should be limited to a sportier body kit, complemented by custom alloy wheels and lowered sports suspension. It is known that the Hyundai team is currently engaged in modernization of the chassis of a car and the petrol turbo engine.
Under the hood of new items can be four-cylinder 1.6-litre unit from the hatchback Elantra GT N Line where the power is 201 horsepower (264 Nm). In the five-door version of the model this motor works with either a six-speed manual transmission or optional seven-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. The car shown in the video below, definitely had two pedal drive setup, as we can see the paddle shifters behind the wheel.
Although Hyundai is not saying when it will introduce the Elantra N Line, we know that the sedan will go on sale as car 2021 model year. Thus, the debut is likely scheduled for the end of this year. It is also expected presentation and version of the sedan, which is equipped with a hybrid power plant.
In the end, rumor has it that Hyundai is building an even more powerful Elantra N, whose motor can give out 275 horsepower under the hood will be a 2.0-liter engine.
