How can a consumer “bury” a Nissan Titan?

A full-size Nissan Titan pickup truck may leave the assembly line for good, despite recent restyling. The demand for the model has not grown after the upgrade, and the brand is waiting for the end of the year to decide the fate of Titan.

The Nissan Titan pickup by automotive standards has been updated relatively recently – in 2019. Moreover, presenting the restyled version, the Japanese automaker announced its plans to release a new generation of the model.

Just a couple of years ago, this pickup was considered one of Nissan’s key youngsters. However, the update did not help increase sales. Two years later, Titan is still lagging behind its competitors. The company has not officially abandoned its pickup truck yet.

However, experts are almost one hundred percent confident that low demand will ruin this model. Last year, when the pandemic hit the car market, Nissan took Titan off the Canadian market quite easily.

The updated Nissan Titan is equipped with a 5.6-liter 408-horsepower V8. In conjunction with him, 9АКПП works. Compared to last year’s numbers, pickup sales show a 14 percent drop. For comparison, during the same period, sales of the Ford Ranger grew more than 3.5 times, and the F-150 series – 25 times. After abandoning the Nissan Titan, the brand may well switch to developing an electric pickup, experts are sure.
