Supercars are very expensive and their options are priced accordingly. However, the Bugatti Chiron managed to surprise even in this, having received an “extra” more expensive than the Lamborghini sports car.
According to open sources, prices for the base Bugatti Chiron in 2022 “start” at $3.3 million. At the same time, the cost of additional options is discussed separately for each buyer. One of the samples for calculating the final price was published on its Facebook page by the GTBoard project. From this document it became known that such an option as the Blue Royal Carbon livery costs $222,500 – more than the Huracan Evo RWD coupe (from $208,000).
However, even if you want and have the opportunity to purchase a Bugatti Chiron with this option, it will no longer be possible to do so. Blue Royal Carbon is for the Chiron Super Sport, which costs $3,825,000 and is limited to nine sold already.
Other extras for the Chiron aren’t cheap either. For example, the Sky View glass roof is estimated at $62,000 – more expensive than the new Volkswagen Golf R (from $44,000), “comfort seats” and a carbon engine cover cost $12,500 each, and a black exhaust deflector – $15,000.
Of course, it is unlikely that the prices of such options are a problem for buyers of such expensive machines. They are owned by billionaires and millionaires, such as the Czech entrepreneur Radim Passer, who enjoys setting personal speed records on German autobahns.
