An amateur POV video shows the next-generation frame SUV accelerating from zero to 100 with the new twin-turbo V6 engine.
The next-generation Toyota Land Cruiser has swapped its naturally aspirated V8 engine for a more powerful twin-turbocharged V6. In the case of the petrol version of the “300” we are talking about the 3.5-liter V35A-FTS engine, developing 415 hp. and 650 Nm. It is combined with a 10-speed “automatic” and all-wheel drive system.
In the first Instagram video from the Kurdistan Automotive Blog project, a standing start exercise is performed without additional measuring instruments. It is not known how heavily the car is loaded and what the temperature is overboard, therefore the check-in is conditional. However, even according to such a rough estimate, the SUV coped with the task in about seven seconds, which is not so bad considering the size and weight of the car, and it is close to the “passport” 6.7 seconds.

In the second video, the Land Cruiser 300 is compared to the Nissan Patrol Nismo, which is equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 engine with 428 hp. and 560 Nm, as well as a 7-speed “automatic”. Cars start almost on an equal footing, after a few seconds the Patrol takes the lead, but then still yields to the “newcomer” from Toyota.
The global start of sales of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is expected this summer. The timing of the appearance of the new product in Ukraine has not yet been announced.
