The European Commission for independent crash tests (Euro NCAP) published the results of tests of the Mazda MX-30 electric crossover and the new generation Honda Jazz hybrid model.
Thus, the Mazda MX-30 crossover received 91% for the protection of adult passengers and 87% for the protection of child passengers as a result of the inspection. The rating for child protection was slightly lowered for the lack of an IsoFix attachment on the front seat and an integrated CRS system.
Pedestrian protection of the Mazda MX-30 electric crossover was estimated at 68%. Dangerous injuries to pedestrians can be caused by areas around the edges of the headlights and windshield pillars. For the effectiveness of the safety systems, the car received 73%. As a result, Euro NCAP awarded the Mazda MX-30 crossover 5 stars.
The same high result, according to European experts, was awarded to the hybrid car Honda Jazz of the new generation. For the protection of adult passengers, he received 87%, for the protection of children — 3%. At the same time, the performance of security systems was assessed at 76%, and the safety of pedestrians — at 80%.
