The engineers of the tuning studio EKanoo Racing from Bahrain conducted another test, during which they checked the power of the Lexus LX600 frame SUV, equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine, the output of which is 415 horsepower and 650 Nm. To do this, the experts placed the car on a dynamometer, with the help of which they took the power characteristics of the unit. During the tests, the experts found that the SUV loses 13 horsepower during acceleration.
For testing, the experts used the new Lexus LX600, built on the TNGA GA-F frame platform, in the F Sport package. The SUV is equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol, the output of which is 415 horsepower and 650 Nm. Together with the unit, a ten-band “automatic” is working, as well as a permanent all-wheel drive system with a locking center differential. The mileage of the tested vehicle was only 17 kilometers.
After a series of runs on the dyno, the engineers recorded a loss of 13 horsepower. The SUV produced 362 horsepower and 552 Nm. Most likely, a slight loss of power is due to the 22-inch wheels that are specific to the F Sport version.
At the end of January, tuners from Bahrain conducted similar tests on the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. During tests on the dyno, the SUV’s 308-horsepower diesel engine lost 40 horsepower.
