The new generation of the BMW 4-Series convertible will hit the Australian car market in early 2021 with three powertrain options and a solid initial price tag.
So, for the most affordable BMW 4-Series convertible of the next generation with the M sports package, you will have to pay 89,900 Australian dollars. The base version will be the 420i with a two-liter four-cylinder TwinPower engine with a return of 184 hp. This convertible gets a leather interior, 3-zone climate control, wireless charging for gadgets, 19-inch wheels, heated front sports seats, etc.
The AUD $ 107,900 version of the 430i gets more sports attributes. Up to hundreds of such a convertible will accelerate in 6.2 seconds. The power of the engine here is 258 hp Version M440i xDrive will cope with acceleration to a hundred faster – 4.9 seconds.
It gets a 6-cylinder 387-horsepower TwinPower Turbo for three liters, combined with an all-wheel drive system and 8 automatic transmission.
Externally, this version can be recognized by the special design of the radiator grille, exterior mirror housings and pipes.
Among the new options, there is a premium Harman Kardon audio system. Option packages will be available for purchase, with which buyers will be able to upgrade their new convertible. So, the Visibility Package (relevant for the 420i and 430i) provides improved lighting and a new body color.
